George Ross’ Passion…and What NSN Is Doing About It

It’s easy getting caught up in the excitement of putting the next transaction together between a Buyer and an Institutional Seller of distressed properties or notes. And, it just gets more exciting when multiple deals are being negotiated at the same time.

But, there’s something else that’s also rewarding…getting involved in a great charitable cause.

National Syndication Network, LLC (NSN) Co-Founders Don Roberts and Candace Pendleton recently met with George Ross in Manhattan. There, we spoke a great deal about business strategy, negotiation, and showing enthusiasm for what we do.

But, it wasn’t “all business”.

It was clear that one of the things George is particularly passionate about is the work being done by the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to find cures for pediatric cancer and other catastrophic diseases. They’re striving to give kids with cancer a second chance at life.

“St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a terrific organization” – George Ross

It caught our attention, and we decided to get involved. We formed “NSN Walks for Cures” to support St. Jude’s noble work.

And, today, we participated in the St. Jude “Give Thanks 5K Walk” in the San Francisco Bay Area. The goal of the participants was to raise $20,000. Together, we did even better…we raised $21,000.

“It felt great being a part of the walk to help the children…everyone should do it” – Don Roberts

Get involved. You’ll be glad you did. Your first step is their first hope.
